Our company was founded in 1866 in Barcelona and it was known as FEDERICO BADAL. It was located at Consell de Cent Street and, at that time, its business was building and maintenance of coaches, as well as the hiring of luxury carriage services. In 1910, it was moved to the Sagrada Família square.
Gradually, at the same time as riding cars gave away to motor vehicles, the company was changing the direction of its business by repairing car engines. Some time later, we renamed ourselves 'HIJOS DE FEDERICO BADAL', incorporating a new service: cars parks.
During the 70s we abandoned the car repairing service to devote ourselves to the service of safety and parking of motor vehicles. This change coincided with the construction of the facilities as they are today, more modern and secure. In turn, there was also a change in the last name of the company, it took the name of GARAJE SAGRADA FAMILIA, S. L.
This name wanted to signify, in a way, our experience with the construction of the church, now a Basilica, Gaudi's Sagrada Família and also explained its history of integration into the neighborhood.
